Trained and Certified by Austin Baby Guru
As a PPD, Anne acts as a caregiver and teacher for families with newborns. She is there to answer your questions, help with research, and send you off to get some much needed sleep. Your goals are her goals, and she will tailor a care plan to fit your family’s needs (within her own ethical comforts). She will be there to teach and guide you; from breastfeeding/bottle positions to how to read your newborn’s cues to how to fold tiny clothes. Anne will also provide support through acts of service such as, sanitizing bottles and pump supplies, handling milk storage or preparing formula, bringing snacks and water to the lactating parent during feeds, loading the dishwasher in a moment of quiet, folding or switching over baby laundry, or just being someone to talk to during 3am feeds. Using evidence based research, years of experience, extensive lactation studies, and strong problem solving skills, Anne will help you create a routine that works for your family and prepare you for future challenges such as sleep regressions and nursing strikes.
As a PPD, Anne does NOT do heavy cleaning, pet care, driving of parents, siblings, baby, or any other family members, direct communication with doctors, specialists, grandparents, vendors, contractors, or grifters on behalf of the client. Anne cannot diagnose or prescribe. This is not a comprehensive list of limitations.

Though she considers herself retired from full-time nannying, Anne is occasionally available for travel nannying. Each contract is dependent on the client and availability. This service is only available to former clients, or families with great recommendations from a caregiver who has worked in their home for more than 3 months. Anne also requires the family to respect that while it is exciting to travel to new places, work trips are not a vacation for a nanny; having a nanny with you is a luxury service. Anne will provide care no more than 12hrs per every 24hrs (consecutive or non-consecutive). She requires a separate bedroom and bathroom, a daily food stipend reflective of destination’s/lodging’s average meal prices, and all travel expenses (planes, trains, automobiles, visas, donkeys, etc) covered.
